Tumbling And Dance

Sophie was SO excited to start the tumbling and dance classes that her Dad and I had enrolled her in for her birthday!  Danny had a physical therapy appointment, so he wasn't able to come to her first class.  But the other kids and I went to support Sophie in her Bravo Arts Academy debut.

The class started out with tumbling.  Sophie warmed up with her classmates, following Ms. Alexandria's instructions.  When she was stretched out and warmed up, she started to tumble!  She loved it...and it's not surprising that it came quite naturally to her.

She loves the bars best. :)

Claire and Johnny were quite captivated by Sophie's class.  Both were very jealous, I think!

And Luke?  Well, Luke couldn't care less about the tumbling.  But he was somewhere new, with new faces and new sounds...and unlimited access to my purse.  It was basically heaven. :)

The second half of class time is moved to the dance studio.  Sophie learned some proper ballet movements and steps, but her favorite part was definitely "Free Dance".  That's when the props come out, and the beats get going.  And Sophie can let her spirit free!

Cutest. Thing. Ever.
