Going To Grandpa's House

At the end of July, we took an afternoon and went to visit Grandpa Richard and Grandma Ruth Ann at their house in Sandy.  We always love going to visit Grandpa and Grandma at their house!  Grandma Ruth Ann always goes to a lot of trouble to make some delicious food, and her and Grandpa Richard always have little treats and presents for the kids.  It was especially fun to take Luke with us!  We may have had to drag his feeding pump with us, but it was totally worth it.  :)

After a yummy pizza lunch, we needed to work off some of those delicious calories!  Grandpa and Grandma live in a really beautiful neighborhood, which was perfect for a summer afternoon walk.  The kids loved the adventure...especially Luke.  And us adults all appreciated having the kids outside for a bit.

When we returned from our walk, Grandma Ruth Ann had some activities for the kids to work on.  Grandpa Richard was liberal with his artistic advice, which the girls very much appreciated. :)

Luke especially enjoyed his time with Grandpa and Grandma.  They were both so good about coming to the hospital and all the way to our house to visit Luke during the months that he was sick and unable to travel.  It was so exciting for him to discover their house!  This boy loves his grandparents!

But he gets tired quickly.  By the time we were ready for a quick picture of Grandma and Grandpa and the kids, Luke was D-O-N-E...DONE!  We took the picture anyway. :)

We love Grandpa Richard and Grandma Ruth Ann, and very much appreciate all they do for us.  We've enjoyed many delicious burritos and cookies at their hands! :)  They have been a wonderful support to us this last year, and we love them both very much.  We know we are nothing without our family.
