On October 25th, the Boise State Broncos traveled to Lavell Edwards Stadium to go head to head with our BYU Cougars. It was Sophie's game, and she was the cutest thing to ever walk into the stadium, I'm sure. She was so happy to get her date with Daddy.
The summer weather was waning, but it was still a beautiful night for football. Sophie enjoyed the music and videos shown on the "giant TVs". She cheered for the Cougars with all her might!
But, like Claire, she's a little young to appreciate the game. She got a little wild there close to halftime. You can see the craziness in her eyes... :)
How do you handle a crazy girl? Give her sugar, of course! Danny introduced his little girl to the legendary "Cougar Tail", which is a really, REALLY long maple doughnut. You know that's right...
Sophie loved her experience at the game, and she cheered the Cougars to victory. But the highlight of her night had to be when Daddy asked a couple of passing cheerleaders if they'd take a picture with Sophie. She talked of nothing else! And now she knows she wants to be a cheerleader, too. She is regularly reminding me that she needs to take gymnastics AND tumbling and dance to be a good cheerleader. :)
Another great night of BYU Football...and another great Daddy-Daughter memory!
