Knock-You-Naked Brownies

Some of you have had the pleasure of these brownies, but most of you have not!  I made these for a group FHE at our neighbor's house last night, so I decided to take a picture so I could post the recipe on the blog.  These are seriously the most delicious brownies EVER!  They've put us on the pot-luck map for our ward, if you know what I mean...

Drumroll please.....

Presenting...

Knock-You-Naked Brownies

Ingredients:
2 Devil's Food Cake Mixes
2 Sticks of Butter, melted
2/3 cup Evaporated Milk
2/3 cup Evaporated Milk
45 Caramels
Chocolate chips

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Mix cake mixes, butter, and 2/3 cup of milk in a large bowl.  Divide the batter in half, and put one half in the bottom of a greased 9x13 pan.  Bake for 6 minutes.

Meanwhile, mix caramels and 2/3 cup milk in microwaveable dish, and microwave for 3-4 minutes or until evenly melted.  Be careful not to burn the caramel.  After caramel is melted, pour evenly over the baked portion of the batter.  Place however many chocolate chips you want over the caramel.

Using wax paper, roll out (or flatten with your hand) the remaining half of batter.  Then piece the batter on top of the caramel/chocolate chip layer until covered.  Bake for 15 minutes.

Allow to cool for at least 6-8 hours before cutting and serving.  We found it works best to make them the night before.  If you cut them too early, they are a little gooey...though still ridiculously delicious!

Enjoy!!
