For the last home game, it was Claire and Johnny's turn to go with Dad. That left Sophie and Joey and I alone for the evening. I decided it was a good opportunity for Sophie and I to enjoy a night out on the town together, so we went to dinner at her favorite restaurant....Chili's! We had a blast together, and it was quite the experience taking Joey to a restaurant. Now that he's not happy to be in his car seat for the duration of a meal, he's quite the handful! I had forgotten what that was like!! But we still enjoyed the time together, and Sophie even introduced Joey to soda for the first time. :)
Meanwhile, down south, the rest of the Call Clan was getting their dinner at JCW's. Not only is the food scrumptious, but the kids get to say hi to Michael while he does his pre-game radio show. Danny even got to meet the girlfriend!
The game was a cold one, but luckily we had all the right gear and the kids stayed toasty warm. We didn't have a single wet game all season!! The Cougars won, and with that the home season came to an end.
I love that we enjoy BYU Football as a family! These special dates with Dad are so fun. We're looking forward to next season already!!
