Last week for Family Night, Danny treated us to a very special movie night. Disney re-released "The Lion King" in 3D at theaters for a limited two-week showing. Danny just knew we had to take the kids.
It was so magical! There was something especially neat about seeing a movie like that in the theater with your kids, when you remembered loving it as a kid yourself. The 3D experience was, well, interesting. I could take it or leave it. But the movie was incredible. Claire sat through the whole thing, glasses on, and loved every minute of it. Sophie and Johnny struggled a little bit, but I think they still enjoyed it.
I love sharing these experiences with my kids. Being a parent is so cool.
