As I mentioned in an earlier post, Aunt Heather and her kids came to visit during February. Since they live all the way in Ohio, we hardly get to see them. It was a well-timed visit. Lila and Ava had just had their first birthdays, and it was time to party! Aunt Heather and Aunt Jenny threw a shin-dig at Grandma Candy's house, complete with smoked ribs (compliments of Uncle Matt), gourmet cupcakes, and lots of gifts for the birthday girls!
As I was going through the pictures, I realized that they really tell the story of the event themselves. The saying is certainly true in this case. A picture is worth a thousand words.
